Kusanagi mentions that she unlocked some doors in the facility.  One of them is the entrance to the Applied Neurobiology lab.  Head inside:

Then either hack the keypad and go down the stairs, or brave the Karkian den and save some multitools.  You'll find a key that you'll later need for the Mesoscale Biocomputing Lab.
